Banana Milkshake
A banana milkshake needs only a blender and five pantry items, and the banana does most of the work. Ripe fruit gives body and natural sweetness, so the shake turns thick and smooth without any extra thickener. Vanilla ice cream rounds it out, and milk lets you set the texture from spoonable to sippable. A pinch of cinnamon on top adds a warm, spiced edge.
Instructions
Peel the banana or bananas and break them into chunks so the blender can pull them down easily.
Put the banana, a few scoops of vanilla ice cream, a spoonful of sugar and a splash of milk into the blender. The source gives no measures, so start small with the milk and sugar and adjust to your own taste.
Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, with no banana lumps left. If it is thicker than you like, add a little more milk and blend again.
Pour into a tall glass. If you like, finish with a pinch of ground cinnamon on top.
Make it personal.
