Chocolate Milkshake

This chocolate milkshake is a quick blender drink built on three cups of vanilla ice cream. Chocolate comes in three layers: chocolate milk for the base, heaping spoonfuls of chocolate powder for depth, and two whole chocolates that melt into the mix. The recipe has no fixed thickness, so you tune it with more ice cream or more milk. Stirring in crushed Oreos at the end adds texture.

Instructions

Put the vanilla ice cream, chocolate milk, chocolate powder and the two chocolates into a blender.

Blend until everything is well mixed and the shake looks smooth and an even brown, with no streaks of ice cream left.

Check the thickness. If it is too thin, blend in a little more ice cream, and if it is too thick, add a splash more chocolate milk.

If you like some crunch, stir in crushed Oreo cookies by hand at the end so they stay in pieces. Pour into glasses and serve right away.
