Cocoa Mix
This homemade cocoa mix takes five minutes and uses four pantry staples. Because the milk is already in the jar as dry powder, you only need to add hot water to get a cup of hot chocolate. One batch makes about 48 servings, so it suits a big household or a gift jar. You control the sugar and the salt, and nothing in it needs a label decoder.
Instructions
Measure the dry milk powder, cocoa powder, sugar and salt into a large bowl.
Stir or whisk the ingredients together until the mixture is one even brown color with no streaks of white milk powder or pockets of cocoa.
Spoon the finished mix into an airtight container and seal it. Keep it closed between uses so the powder stays dry and does not clump.
Make it personal.
