Fry sauce is a two-ingredient condiment that turns a plain batch of fries into something worth dipping twice. The mix is one part tomato ketchup to two parts mayonnaise, so the mayonnaise gives a creamy body while the ketchup adds a gentle tang and sweetness. It takes about a minute with a spoon and a bowl, and you can tell it is done by its uniform pink color.

Instructions

Spoon the mayonnaise into a small bowl. Add the ketchup on top of it.

Stir the two together with a spoon or small whisk, scraping the sides of the bowl so no streaks of white or red are left.

Keep stirring until the sauce turns an even, strong pink. When the color is uniform and there are no streaks, it is ready to serve.
