Heinz Burger Sauce
This is a quick, no-cook burger sauce built from mayonnaise and ketchup, in equal amounts. Sweet relish adds a little crunch and sugar, cider vinegar gives it a sharp edge, and minced garlic keeps it from tasting flat. Everything is stirred together in one bowl, then left to rest for half an hour, which lets the garlic and vinegar soften into the creamy base. Spread it on a burger bun or use it for dipping.
Instructions
Measure the mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet relish and apple cider vinegar into a mixing bowl.
Add the sugar, minced garlic, salt and pepper to the bowl.
Stir everything together until the sauce is an even pink-orange color with no streaks of mayonnaise or ketchup left.
Let the sauce sit for 30 minutes so the garlic, vinegar and relish can blend into the base. Stir once more before spooning it onto burgers.
Make it personal.
