Honey Apple Marinade
This honey apple marinade is a sweet, tangy and smoky mixture built for pork. Apple cider and cider vinegar supply fruit and acidity, while honey rounds the edges and helps meat take on color when cooked. Two tablespoons of smoked paprika give it a deep red hue and a campfire note. It takes a few minutes to stir together and keeps in the refrigerator for up to three weeks.
Instructions
Measure the apple cider, apple cider vinegar and honey into a bowl or a jar with a tight lid.
Add the salt, black pepper and smoked paprika.
Stir or shake until the honey has dissolved and the paprika is evenly distributed, with no clumps of honey left at the bottom.
Use the marinade right away, or store it in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. Give it a good stir or shake before each use, since the paprika will settle.
Make it personal.
