Honey Bourbon Marinade
This honey bourbon marinade comes together in one jar with no cooking, and it keeps in the fridge for up to two weeks. Honey gives sweetness, cider vinegar adds sharpness, and Worcestershire sauce brings a savory depth that holds the bourbon in check. Because it is mixed straight in a jar or zip-top bag, you can make a batch ahead and have it ready whenever you want to marinate meat.
Instructions
Measure the honey, bourbon, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce and cider vinegar into a mason jar or a gallon-size zip-top bag.
Seal the jar or bag and shake or squeeze it until the honey has loosened into the liquid and the salt and pepper are evenly mixed.
Use the marinade right away, or keep it sealed in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Give it a good shake before each use, since the honey will settle.
Make it personal.
