Hot Chocolate

This hot chocolate uses just three ingredients and one small trick that keeps it smooth. Grinding the cocoa and sugar together in the mug before any liquid goes in breaks up the lumps that cocoa powder tends to form. Adding the milk in two stages, first half and then the rest, lets you stir the paste into a smooth base before diluting it. It works with milk or plain water.
Instructions
Warm the milk or water in a small pan until it is hot to the touch and steaming.
While it heats, put the cocoa powder and sugar in a mug. Stir them together thoroughly, pressing the back of the spoon against the side of the mug to crush any lumps and grind the two together.
Pour hot milk into the mug until it is about half full. Stir well until the cocoa has dissolved and no dry clumps remain.
Add the rest of the hot milk and stir once more. Drink while hot.
Make it personal.
