Iced Tea

This iced tea starts with a concentrate brewed in a drip coffee maker, so one pot of tea makes several litres of drink. Citric acid gives it a bright, lemony edge without cloudiness, while stevia and a small amount of sugar sweeten it. Once diluted in the glass, it contains very little sugar. Keep the concentrate chilled, then mix a glass whenever you want one, with or without fruit juice.
Instructions
Fill the reservoir of a drip coffee maker with cold water and put the tea bags in the filter basket.
Put the stevia, the acid crystals and the sugar in the empty pot, then set the pot in the machine.
Run the machine through a full brewing cycle. The result is a strong concentrate that makes several litres of iced tea once diluted.
Chill the concentrate in the refrigerator until it is cold.
Fill a tall glass with ice, then add cold water until the glass is 80 to 90 percent full. Pour in some of the chilled concentrate and stir.
If you like, use a little less water and top the glass with fruit juice instead. Garnish with cherries, pineapple, or lemon or lime slices.
Make it personal.
