Lemonade
Fresh lemon juice, sugar and water are all that goes into a proper pitcher of lemonade, and the ratio is easy to adjust to your own taste. Using turbinado sugar instead of white gives a golden-brown drink with a mild caramel note. Dissolving the sugar in a little warm water first saves stirring time. It takes ten minutes and suits a warm afternoon.
Instructions
Pour the lemon juice into a pitcher or jug and add the sugar. Stir until you can no longer see or feel any grains of sugar at the bottom.
Add the water and stir again to mix everything evenly. Taste it, and if it is too sharp, stir in a little more sugar within the amount given.
Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator, or pour it over ice and serve right away.
Make it personal.
