Nigerian Tea (Hot Chocolate)
Nigerian tea is a breakfast hot chocolate that contains no tea at all. The name is simply what people call a hot drink taken with bread or a snack. It is made with evaporated milk, traditionally Peak Milk, which gives the mug a rich, slightly caramelized creaminess, and Milo for the malted chocolate flavor. Three ingredients and a kettle are all it takes, and it pairs well with meat pie.
Instructions
Pour the evaporated milk into a mug. Add the Milo chocolate drink mix and stir until the powder is blended into the milk.
Stir in the hot water until the drink is smooth and evenly colored.
Serve it hot with bread, Nigerian meat pie, or another Nigerian snack.
Make it personal.
