Homemade Oat Milk

Homemade oat milk takes five minutes and only two ingredients, a half cup of oats and two liters of water. Grinding the oats to a fine powder before adding water is the step that gives the milk its body. It keeps in the refrigerator for at least a week, and the strained oat solids need not be thrown away, because they cook down into a bowl of porridge.
Instructions
Put the oats in a blender and run it until they turn into the finest powder you can manage. The finer the powder, the more flavor and body ends up in the milk.
Pour in as much of the water as the blender will hold and blend again until the mixture looks uniformly cloudy.
Strain the mixture into a jug, pressing out the liquid from the solids. Stir in the rest of the water, then stir the milk again before you drink it, since it settles as it sits.
Make it personal.
