Orange Julius
An Orange Julius is a frothy orange and milk drink that tastes like a creamsicle in a glass. Frozen concentrate gives it a strong citrus base without any squeezing, while the milk and a teaspoon of vanilla round off the acidity. Twelve ice cubes blended in make it thick and slushy. It takes only a few minutes and one blender, and it is easy to adjust the sugar.
Instructions
Put the concentrated orange juice, milk, water, sugar, vanilla extract and ice cubes into a blender jar. If you prefer a less sweet drink, start with a little less than the full amount of sugar.
Blend until the ice is completely crushed and the mixture is smooth and frothy, with no chunks left rolling around in the jar.
Pour into glasses right away and serve. The drink is at its best while it is still cold and thick, before the ice has time to melt.
Make it personal.
