Pineapple Juice
Fresh pineapple juice needs little more than a ripe pineapple and a blender. Because nothing else is added, the fruit's own sweetness carries the glass, and sugar is only an option if your pineapple is on the tart side. You can strain out the pulp for a clear pour. For a properly cold drink, chill the diced fruit for a few hours before blending, or chill the finished juice.
Instructions
Rinse the ripe pineapple under running water to wash off any sand or dust.
Set the pineapple on a cutting board and cut away the skin with a sharp knife.
Cut the flesh into small cubes and put them in a blender or juicer. If you like, add a little water and sugar at this point.
Blend until the mixture is completely smooth, then pour it through a strainer to remove the pulp.
Pour the juice into a glass and drink it right away. For a colder drink, chill the juice before serving, or chill the diced pineapple for a few hours before blending.
