Garlic Parmesan Pasta
Garlic Parmesan Pasta is a quick butter-sauced fettuccine with broccoli and walnuts that is ready in twenty minutes. The sauce is nothing more than melted butter with dried basil, lemon juice and garlic powder, so it needs no fresh aromatics and comes together in the time the pasta takes to drain. Chopped walnuts add crunch against the tender-crisp broccoli, and a shower of fresh Parmesan finishes each bowl.
Instructions
Cook the pasta and the broccoli ahead of time if you have not already. Drain the pasta well, and make sure the broccoli is tender but still has some bite.
Melt the butter in a large skillet. Stir in the basil, lemon juice, garlic powder and seasoned salt until the seasonings are evenly blended into the butter.
Add the cooked pasta, the broccoli and the chopped walnuts to the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is coated in the seasoned butter and the broccoli and nuts are spread through it.
Serve straight away, topped with freshly grated Parmesan. If you like, toss in cooked chicken breast or cooked shrimp along with the pasta.
Make it personal.
