Peach Cobbler
Peach cobbler with a rolled butter crust is about as simple as a baked fruit dessert gets. The dough takes just three ingredients, and canned peaches mean you can make it in any season. The sugar goes straight onto the fruit, so it dissolves into a syrup under the crust as the pan bakes. Pull it out when the top turns light brown, and serve it warm from the pan.
Instructions
Put the flour, butter and milk in a bowl. Cut the butter into the flour with a pastry cutter or two knives until the mixture comes together as a dough, then set it aside.
Pour the canned peaches into a 9x13-inch baking pan, spreading them in an even layer. Sprinkle the sugar over the top.
Roll the dough out into a sheet and lay it over the peaches as a crust.
Bake at 350 °F until the top is lightly browned, which takes about one hour.
Make it personal.
